The art of puppetry offers immersive and creative opportunities for organising a memorable team event. In the Museum of Puppetry Arts, teams can test their creativity and collaboration skills while enjoying the magical world of puppet theatre.
The programmes are put together in a way that each participant can contribute actively – whether by animating a puppet, designing a production or discovering the behind-the-scenes world of theatre. The activities also encourage communication and team spirit, making the event not only fun but also a valuable tool for team building.
Team events in the Museum of Puppetry Arts are a perfect way to:
Puppet animating workshop
The workshop introduces different puppet types and the art of animating them. For example, manipulating a table top puppet can be quite a challenge, through which participants get to know their teammates better. While creating short etudes that will conclude the workshop, participants improve their communication skills through puppetry.
Marionette making workshop
Technically one of the most complex, while visually one of the most mesmerising puppet types, a marionette, or string puppet, presents a real challenge to both the puppet maker as well as the puppeteer. In the workshop, participants learn about the particular characteristics of a marionette and employ the gained knowledge in making their very own string puppet.
Stage model workshop
In the workshop, participants learn about the stage space, the planning and lighting of it. In groups, they create stage boxes that capture the mood of a given story, picture or sound.
Price: 20 euros per participant
