Workshop For Families by the United Dancers of ZUGA

Movement workshop for families is a playful collective co-existence for the whole family where using a new secret language – movement – every participant can tell their story.

Families (parents and children from age 4) willing to explore each other and their surroundings and to see in a new way are welcome in the workshop.
In the workshop, participants learn to discover and create communication situations through movement and to test different possibilities of dancing together. In addition to people, balls, instruments, stools, mats and other stuff are included into the movement. Attentiveness and preparedness in a playing situation are trained. From succeeding each other and trying out different possibilities of the space and movement a choreography that can be danced all together is formed.

The workshop is led by the members of ZUGA: a group of dancers and choreographers who are binded by the search for harmony through play. Their performances have got a lot of recognition and attention and travelled through the world.

Every family can bring up tp 3 children. All children from age 4 are welcome.

"Madness in the Workshop" polystyrene puppet workshop

Following the "Madness in the Workshop" performances, the stage team invites children and adults to seriously set about building their own puppets under their guidance.

At the end of the show the actresses invite the audience to flock to the tools they offer to set about sculpting the polystyrene. Then, following the advice of the production team, they would set about making their own puppets. Clearly an hour of participating in the workshop is not enough for the audience to be able to leave with a completed puppet in their hands. They will, however, have the keys for making one at home, for finishing it up in their bedroom, or in the kitchen or, perhaps, to make others…

The ticket to the workshop is 5 euros and the max number of participants is 20.
