The children\u2019s novel by Lewis Carroll has over time turned into a core text that has spread its roots far and wide \u2013 it has been adapted into many films and theatre productions, there is music created to it as well as numerous references in pop culture. The story speaks of a girl named Alice who has a dream in which she follows a white rabbit, falls into a deep rabbit hole and finds herself in a strange world where reality and fantasy blend into one. Which is more real \u2013 the life that goes on above ground or the world seething underground?<\/p>\n
Ivari P\u00f5llu\u2019s production Alice from Wonderland is inspired by Lewis Carroll\u2019s novel, but does not faithfully follow its course. In this story, Alice does not end up in Wonderland, but she lives in it. At one point, she unexpectedly finds herself in \u201cthe real world\u201d where we, the audience, live as well.<\/p>\n
