{"id":25903,"date":"2025-05-23T08:05:47","date_gmt":"2025-05-23T05:05:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/2024.eestinoorsooteater.ee\/lavastus\/9-elu\/"},"modified":"2025-11-10T12:05:27","modified_gmt":"2025-11-10T10:05:27","slug":"9-lives","status":"publish","type":"lavastus","link":"https:\/\/www.eestinoorsooteater.ee\/en\/lavastus\/9-lives\/","title":{"rendered":"9 Lives"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The current class of the youth studio of the Estonian Theatre for Young Audiences is now in its second year and preparing for their graduating production, which draws inspiration from the poems of J\u00fcri \u00dcdi and Juhan Viiding and Andres Ehin.<\/p>\n<p>Behind the title 9 Lives we seek answers to the questions: who is a human today, what are they made of, how have they become what they are, what has it done to the world and, most importantly \u2013 what is\u00a0<em>my part<\/em>\u00a0in the whole. How to find\u00a0<em>your own face<\/em>\u00a0and accept the fact that a\u00a0<em>stranger has a stranger\u2019s face<\/em>? And in the light of it all \u2013 how to live in a way that you don\u2019t\u00a0<em>sleep away<\/em>\u00a0yourself and the world around you, and do your bit to make it a better place for all of us?<\/p>\n<p>Our studio actors are at a wonderful age \u2013 so much to explore, to consider and reconsider. Everyone has a chance to live at least nine lives and to find their own way.
