Theatre Club

The Museum of Puppetry Arts theatre club broadens the world view of 2nd to 8th grade students through the art of puppetry. The theatre club activities are related to the museum collection and education programme as well as activities of the Estonian Theatre for Young Audiences.

In the theatre club, students learn about various stages of putting on a play, the history of puppet types and the skill of animating puppets. The studies are practical and will culminate with a final performance/ open class for family members.

The club welcomes everyone who is interested: stage confidence is not a criterium in the Museum of Puppetry Arts theatre club, as the staging process includes much more than acting.

Theatre club activities help to preserve the specialized knowledge and skills of puppetry arts.
