A show with strong atmospheres of stage and video design that take the viewer straight into the centre of intense action.

The most famous film of legendary director Alfred Hitchcock, The Birds is based on a short story of the same name by English author Daphne du Maurier. The film, the short story and the NUKU theatre production all share an apocalyptic motif of birds that suddenly and for no clear reason start attacking people.

In the show, two young artists face their apocalypse – a deaf girl Sissi and her boyfriend Frank, a photographer. They occupy a lonely seaside cabin to find a hideaway from other people. Unfortunately, they will soon have exceedingly friendly neighbours Saul and Netti. Hidden thoughts and dark secrets gradually start to emerge. The birds gather in flocks and go on the offensive.

The strong atmospheres of stage and video design seize the audience and take them straight into the centre of intense action.

The show is in Estonian and with some Estonian sign language.
